To create a tranquil atmosphere that blends seamlessly with the blissful natural environment, The Cloisters on the Platte Foundation is working with a world-class team of architects and construction professionals. This includes the Leo A. Daly firm, an internationally recognized leader in architecture that will design the Chapel, and legendary architect Peter Capone, whose extensive portfolio includes the Cloister at Sea Island, and who is designing the retreat’s Main House. (Retreat Center and Gate House).
The Cloisters on the Platte permanent retreat center will also include a series of seven residential cabins, each with 10 bedrooms. To contribute to a richly diverse experience, The Cloisters on the Platte Foundation will engage different architects to design the various residential cabins.
Construction is scheduled to be completed by December 2017.
